Inlays and Onlays
Inlays and onlays can be ideal when tooth damage cannot be repaired with a filling alone, but does not necessarily warrant treatment with a dental crown. Crafted from porcelain or high-quality ceramics, these restorations reinforce the tooth while maintaining a natural and refined appearance.
An inlay fits neatly within the chewing surfaces of a tooth, restoring the area between the cusps — which refer to the small raised points on a tooth. Inlays are typically placed when damage or decay is moderate and contained within the inner portions of the tooth. By contrast, an onlay extends over one or more of these cusps, reinforcing a larger portion of the tooth’s structure. Dr. Liang begins treatment by preparing the tooth and taking precise digital impressions. An advanced dental lab then fabricates your custom restoration with exceptional accuracy, allowing a natural and seamless fit. Once bonded, your inlay or onlay restores stability and function, protecting your tooth for years to come and preserving as much of its natural structure as possible.
Dental Crowns
A dental crown is a custom-crafted restoration designed to protect and reinforce a tooth significantly weakened by decay, fractures, or previous dental work. Functioning as a “cap” placed over a weak tooth, crowns are often placed in complement with other treatments, such as dental implants, root canal therapy, and dental bridges. These restorations are made with strong materials that resemble the translucency of natural tooth enamel, allowing them to appear indistinguishably within your smile.
Each crown is designed with meticulous attention to color, shape, and bite alignment, ensuring the final result is both strong and long-lasting. After reshaping the tooth and taking detailed digital scans, a custom-designed crown is placed to achieve a natural, seamless fit. When placed, the crown fully encases the tooth, restoring strength, comfort, and aesthetics while preventing further damage.
Dental Bridges
A dental bridge offers a stable and natural-looking solution for replacing one or more consecutive missing teeth. The bridge is anchored to healthy neighboring teeth through dental crowns or affixed to the jawbone with implants, both of which work to fill the gap between healthy teeth. When conducted under the guidance of an experienced dentist like Dr. Liang, a dental bridge can be an effective way to replace missing teeth without surgery or time-consuming treatment. In addition, dental bridges can feel exceptionally comfortable and blend organically with your smile.
Treatment typically involves preparing the anchor teeth, capturing digital impressions, and placing a temporary bridge while your permanent restoration is created. Once secured, your new dental bridge can restore proper chewing function and help prevent surrounding teeth from shifting out of place.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation/Smile Rejuvenation
For patients with complex or multi-layered dental concerns — such as worn teeth, biting issues, missing teeth, or extensive damage — full mouth rehabilitation offers a streamlined pathway to complete smile renewal. Sometimes known as Smile Rejuvenation or a Smile Makeover, full mouth rehabilitation is a personalized combination of dental treatments designed to reclaim a healthy, well-functioning smile and bite. After a comprehensive assessment of your oral health, biting alignment, jaw function, and aesthetic goals, Dr. Liang works with you to achieve your dream smile through custom treatments like implants, crowns, fillings, orthodontics, or cosmetic dentistry procedures.
This transformative process restores harmony between function and aesthetics, allowing you to enjoy improved confidence, well-being, and long-term stability. Every step is planned with your goals in mind to create personalized results that complement the natural character of your smile.
Dental Implants
Considered the gold standard for replacing missing teeth, dental implants are designed to reclaim form and function in a single tooth, multiple consecutive teeth, or an entire dental arch. Unlike other tooth replacement options, an implant is designed to replicate the natural tooth root. The entire restoration consists of a titanium post, an abutment, and a custom-made restoration like a crown, bridge, or denture. The implant is then surgically affixed to the underlying jawbone, allowing your restoration to stimulate bone growth while preventing the loss of further bone density — a common consequence of living with missing teeth. This not only helps your implants look and feel more natural, but also works to maintain your facial shape and prevent the shifting of surrounding teeth, among other benefits.
Dr. Liang works with trusted periodontists, prosthodontists, and implant specialists to replace your missing teeth with the highest standards of care and expertise. Once your final restoration is placed, your implant looks and functions just like a natural tooth, restoring confidence when speaking, eating, or smiling.
Implant Dentures
Implant-supported dentures offer a more secure and enduring solution to replace an entire row of missing teeth when compared to traditional removable dentures. Instead of relying on adhesives or messy pastes, the denture is securely anchored to the jawbone using dental implants, dramatically improving security, comfort, confidence, and bite strength.
After evaluating your bone structure and oral health, Dr. Liang collaborates with experienced implant dentists to place your dental implants. While the implants are left to integrate with the bone over a period of several months, a temporary restoration is placed while your custom denture is fabricated. The final prosthesis then firmly attaches to your implants, restoring full functionality in your smile and allowing you to speak and eat with greater confidence.
All-on-4® Implants
All-on-4® dental implants provide a stable, full-arch tooth replacement using just four strategically placed implants. This approach is designed for patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, or who are ready to transition away from traditional dentures. During the planning phase, digital imaging is used to assess bone quality, gum health, and the ideal angulation for each implant. In many cases, a provisional full-arch prosthesis can be attached on the same day the implants are placed, which is why treatment is often referred to as “same-day teeth.” This allows patients to leave with an immediate set of functional teeth while the implants heal and integrate with the jawbone.
After a healing period of several months, the final full-arch restoration is fitted and placed to maximize bite alignment, durability, and a natural appearance. The completed All-on-4® system can provide a secure and non-removable alternative to dentures, improving chewing ability, comfort, and long-term oral wellness.
